BOOK TAG: The Seven Deadly Sins Book Tag

Tuesday, October 21, 2014

I was tagged by Beatrice at Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic for this tag and I'm so excited for it. I will be tagging a few friends from instagram to do this tag and for anyone who would like to do it.. :)

Let us begin!

Greed - What is your most expensive book? What is your most inexpensive book?

Most Expensive: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire hardbound which cost around PHP 1,145.00 but had to sell it. Huhu (long story)
Most Inexpesive: The Host by Stephenie Meyer (I got it for like PHP 50.00  So that's around $1.25? Good deal huh?)

Wrath - What author do you have a love/hate relationship?

Oh. I think I'd go with Cassandra Clare (The Queen of Drama) on this one. Why? Let's be honest, the Shadowhunter world she created is amazing, but... but... I don't like the drama she spun around the Mortal Instrument Series.. .Clary and Jace siblings? Give me a break. It took like 2 or 3 books for them to realize they're not siblings??? What is this? Filipino soap operas?? On the other hand, I absolutely love the drama on The Infernal Devices. That one was perfect. So... That explains why I have a love and hate relationship with Cassandra Clare.

Gluttony - What book have you devoured over and over again with no shame?

I would have to say... The Twilight Saga... No shame in saying that. Twilight was the start of my YA journey and before I discovered new ones, this was the series I repeated a lot of times I can't even remember how many times I've read it...

Sloth - What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?

I'd have to say The Storyteller by Antonia Michaelis. It was a German book translated to English I believe... The prose was good, but was just too slow and I was... lazy.. soo... slow pace and laziness... not a good combination.

Pride - What book do you talk about most in order to sound like an intellectual reader?

I don't even know how to answer that. Haha. I do have tons of Nursing books.. I think that should count. Haha.

Lust - What attributes do you find attractive in male characters?

The One Million Dollar Question! I usually go for blond guys. I have a thing for tall, blond guys with blue or green eyes. Has dimples. Who's mysterious, brooding, and gorgeous. It would help if he has a bit of a dark side... Oh he has to have a sense of humor too.  Here are some of my choices.

YA
The Darkling and Nikolai Lantsov (from the Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo)
Aaron Warner (Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi)
Daemon Black (The Lux series by Jennifer L. Armentrout)
Augustus Waters (The Fault in Our Stars)
Will Herondale and Jem Carstairs (The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare)
Noah Shaw (the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin)
Ash'Darkmyr Tallyn (The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa)
*honestly, I could go on with this list*

NA/Adult:
Gabriel Emerson (Gabriel's Inferno series by Sylvain Reynard)
Andrew Parrish (The Edge of Never duology by JA Redmerski)
Woods Kerrington (Twisted Perfection series by Abbi Glines)

Envy - What book would you most like to receive as a gift?

I would like to get this edition of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo! I would kiss you, if you would gift this to me.
